I’ve never been to a pop-up before so when the chance to attend The Vanity Events pop-up at Cover Thirty One, I knew I would be in attendance. The rooftop of Cover Thirty One was the perfect location for this event. The lounge atmosphere made for an amazingly relaxed night overlooking the beautiful streets of Toronto.
With hair touch-ups by Cappuci Salon and Spa, a make up touch-up and a chance to purchase Marie Natie all natural products, and a mini-mani with the new Vanity Polish collection, I was in blogger heaven. With the perfect rooftop and lounge atmosphere I relaxed and got a mini-mani with one of Eliza and Karen’s new polishes. They created these polishes with Tryst Lacquers (a Canadian company), how awesome is that? There will be an official launch in October, after which the polishes will be available online and at any of The Vanity Events future events. So far they have four colours, a PERFECT shade of nude (‘E’ Nude), a lovely lilac (born 2B vain), a peach with sparkles (vain + peachy), and a cloudy gray with sparkles (stormy K). I was pleased with how well the polish went on, how quickly it dried, and how lush the colours are. I will definitely be purchasing all four colours as soon as I can.
To make this pop-up even more wonderful, Stella and Dot and Pelle Imports were in attendance. Showcasing all of their fabulous products and making you want to reach for your wallet. I’m seriously considering hosting a Stella and Dot party of my own, they have so many wonderful pieces for every kind of event and style!
